601 Reminders & Events

START ELIGIBILITY
Part-time students, must meet the following requirements before enrolling:
a) the successful completion of all 5000-series Required Foundations of Management Core Courses,
b) the successful completion of SGMT 6000 3.00, and
c) the successful completion of at least 4 elective courses.

If you are a full-time student, you must have successfully completed all 5000-series Required Foundations of Management Core Courses and have taken or be taking SGMT 6000 3.00.

Students are required to begin and complete the 601 over their last two terms.

ENROLMENT DETAILS
If you plan to begin the 601 in Fall, you must:

  • enrol in MGMT 6090 0.00 (the zero-credit Strategy Field Study Formation)
  • enrol in MGMT 6100 3.00 (the credit portion of the course) in the Fall 2011 or Winter 2012 term
  • register on the 601 database (601.schulich.yorku.ca) to signal your intent to start the 601

Please note that we do not retroactively add MGMT 6100 (or any course) if you change your mind about when to place it in your schedule.  Decide which term you are placing the course before you begin your 601.

Fall 2011 Mandatory 601 Kickoff

All students starting the 601 project in the Fall 2011 term are required to attend the Mandatory 601 Kickoff on:

9:00am to 3:00pm
SSB McEwen Auditorium
Attendance Mandatory

Agenda & Case Materials will be distributed one week prior to Kickoff.

*Highly recommended for Winter 2012 Exchange students planning to start the 601 project in the Winter 2012 term.
