Buying (or renting) textbooks in 2011

Buying or renting…an eternal debate!  Please see options below on how to be prepared with your textbooks for September 2011.

Buying Online

You can buy your textbooks online and have them delivered to your house or on-campus residence. This is a great option for students who do not want to wait in line in September.

Renting Textbooks

The Bookstore has started a new program this year that allows you to rent your textbooks instead of buying them. The cost of each book depends on the length of time you want to keep the book. To learn more about this program, click here.

Buying In Store

To buy your textbooks in the store, print your Course List from the Bookstore’s Web site so you are prepared when you go to the Store. There are usually long line-ups to get into the Bookstore during the first few weeks in September. Make sure you give yourself enough time when you go there. To avoid lineups, get your textbooks early or buy them online.

Nadal Students

Students taking courses at the Miles S. Nadal Downtown Management Centre can pick up their textbooks at Books for Business at 120 Adelaide St. West.
