Social Enterprise Hackathon with Newcomer Kitchen

Newcomer Kitchen is a non-profit that provides newly-arrived Syrian women with an opportunity to work and integrate into their communities. On Feb 10, the Next Social Impactor and startGBC are organizing a hackathon to use design thinking to develop a social enterprise ‘playbook’ to replicate Newcomer Kitchen and welcome Syrian newcomers to communities across the world. Join us for a chance to learn more about Newcomer Kitchen, design thinking methodologies, the experiences of Syrian refugees and ultimately $750 for providing the best ideas on how social enterprises can best welcome these individuals into our communities!
