The course provides a detailed overview of the four essential areas of financial analysis: Valuation, Capital Budgeting, Portfolio Construction and Risk Management.
The finance module serves as a foundation for Finance 5200 and as well as upper year Finance electives.

Finance Instructor Profile: Greg Chiykowski

Greg Chiykowski is one of the most highly regarded Finance instructors at the Schulich School of Business. He brings into the classroom over thirty years of real world business experience and currently teaches Finance, Management Accounting, and Financial Accounting courses at Schulich. Greg was nominated for the 2012 and 2013 Teaching Excellence Awards. He has his M.Sc.(Bus.Admin.) from the University of British Columbia and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
