Take your education on the road and sign up for a  3.0 or 1.5 credit-hour study tour course in Winter or Summer 2017.
These courses utilize a mix of lectures, in-class discussions, and company visits that will take place during six pre-departure lectures and a 10-day study tour in Chile/Peru or an 11-day study tour in Thailand/Vietnam. Students will participate in a diverse selection of company visits which could include CSR, renewable energy, fair trade, mining, finance, retail, consumer goods, agriculture or nonprofit organizations (and/or others) which will vary based on the theme and location of each tour. Sector visits are tailored as much as possible to students’ interests participating in each tour.

Course Title:  MGMT 6400B Sustainability & Innovation in Chile & Peru
Dates:  Pre-Travel Class Dates: 6 Lectures: Every Thursday – March 2 to April 6, 2017, 17:30-19:00
            Chile/Peru Program Dates: April 18-27, 2017 (not including travel days)

Course Title:  MGMT 6400A International Business & Investment in Thailand & Vietnam
Dates: Pre-Travel Class Dates: 6 Lectures: Every Thursday – March 2 to April 6, 2017, 17:30-19:00

Thailand/Vietnam Program Dates: April 18-28, 2017 (not including travel days)

Instructor: Lorna Wright, Associate Professor of International Business and Organization Studies; Executive Director Centre for Global Enterprise; Export Development Canada Professorship in International Business
Cost: $2,450 CAD plus international flights
Included: Accommodation (dual occupancy), all breakfasts, welcome dinner, internet, city tours, ground transportation, regional flights from Bangkok to Hanoi (one way) and Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City (one way) and University and company visits.

Prerequisites: All 5100-level required Foundations of Management Courses completed prior to Winter 2017 term. Note: Consideration will be given to students who had approval to defer a 5100-level course to the Winter 2017 term in order to register in an elective course to count towards their specialization.

Credit Information: 3.00 or 1.50 credit-hour course in Winter or Summer 2017

Course Enrolment: Registered students will be informed when they can enrol in the course through Passport York
