Hello Schulich International Students!

Are you interested in applying for permanent residence (PR) in Canada? Do you know what your options are? Did you know that you may already meet the eligibility requirements for PR? The International Relations team is once again launching the Permanent Residence series for the Fall 2019 term

Permanent Residence Series

Options and Overview Session:

Tuesday, September 10, 2019
12pm – 2pm

SSB Auditorium
(No food and drinks allowed inside Auditorium)

REGISTER HERE!

This Schulich-specific session will cover relevant PR programs, including those managed under Canada’s Express Entry system, as well as provincial nomination options available under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). We will discuss how to determine your eligibility, when to apply, as well as strategies to enhance your Express Entry profile.  A make-up session will be held in early October (date/time TBD).

Note for BBA/iBBA students: Per request, an undergraduate-focused PR session will be held later this term which focus on relevant and common pathways for undergrad students. You are welcome to attend either session, though there will be overlap in some of the content. Date and time TBD shortly.

Lunch Series:

(Registration emails will be sent separately; date and time TBD)

  1. Employment Requirements – NOC codes and more (Coming in October)
  2. EE and eAPRs – how to prepare a PR application (Coming in November)
  3. Ontario Masters Stream (Coming in December)

The Lunch Series are short but in-depth sessions on the mechanics of PR applications. You MUST attend the PR Options and Overview session before registering/attending the Lunch Series, as these sessions assume a working knowledge of relevant PR programs (and will not be a review of general information/eligibility).

As an important reminder, you MUST attend a relevant session before booking a one-on-one with our International Student Support Specialist / Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (i.e.: before booking individual PR advising, you must attend the PR options session).

Spouses/partners are welcome to also attend immigration-related sessions.
