A leading Canadian business publication and top authority on marketing and media, Marketing Magazine honours 30 young professionals under age 30 every fall in Toronto.

Candidates are openly nominated by their colleagues and 30 are selected based on their contributions and creativity in the fields of marketing, media, communications and advertising. The winners pose for their very own magazine cover shoot, and are honoured at a fun ceremony hosted in downtown Toronto each year.

Schulich is a proud sponsor of this year’s event, but more importantly, a proud supporter of the culture in which these professionals work: one that is characterized by constant innovation, creative-thinking and tackling big ideas.

At last night’s award ceremony, we shared in that spirit of innovation and the passionate energy that we see from the city’s bright young minds. It’s inspiring to witness the strides that Toronto’s “under 30” crowd have made not only in their individual career trajectories, but in shaping, influencing and disrupting the spaces that they work in.

This year Marketing Magazine received over 500 applicants, and had the difficult job of making the cut from a group that included “Cannes winners, agency founders and the shepherds of some of Canada’s fastest-growing brands.”

The winners were certainly a deserving group, encompassing social media masterminds, entrepreneurs, and art directors from companies that included Scotiabank, Edelman and Wattpad. Get to know the winners here.

Congratulations to all of the nominees and to the 30 winners who were honoured last night!
