As digital disruption reshapes the global media landscape, ARTM 6340 – From Networks to Netflix: New Business Models offers a powerful lens into the future of the industry.

With a focus on best practices from Canadian and global media markets and the unique characteristics of content as a product, this course unpacks how the streaming players are competing with traditional media players. ARTM 6340 provides a real opportunity for active participation with de Wilde, as well as other industry practitioners and fellow students.

Led by Lisa de Wilde, Bell Media Professor of Media Management, this course examines how streaming platforms, traditional media, and emerging technologies like AI are transforming business models in Canada and beyond.
