Co-Sponsored by Schulich School of Business and the Race Equity Caucus

Schulich is partnering with Liberal Arts & Professional Studies (LA&PS) to co-sponsor an enriching upcoming webinar entitled “Living in Reciprocity: Black, Brown and Indigenous Solidarities”.

This teach-in will bring together three influential public intellectuals, Leanne Betasamosake Simpson, Robyn Maynard, and Shama Rangwala, into a conversation about the possibilities for cross-community alliance in the struggles against anti-Black and anti-Indigenous racism.

This is the second of a series of free public events organized by the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies at York University. The events are meant to be educational and provocative, advancing dialogue, knowledge and thinking about racism in the university and beyond, and its specific and unique configurations within the territories now known as Canada.

The webinar, taking place on Friday, November 20, will be hosted by Andrea Davis, an Associate Professor in the Department of Humanities at York and Special Advisor on the Anti-Black Racism Strategy at LA&PS. To register for the event, please click here.
