Alternative investments are one of the fastest-growing and specialized areas of finance – but there is very little information on what these managers and associated areas do, and even less information for students on how to tailor your studies to entering this field.  At this panel you will hear a briefing on the global and Canadian hedge fund and alternatives industry as well as the personal career paths and advice from three noted industry professionals: a long-short equity manager, an alternative fixed-income manager, and an operation due diligence specialist with one of the world’s largest and most renowned institutional investors.  The panel will be moderated by the Canada country head of the Alternative Investment Management Association.
