A major yearly event, the Out On Bay Street Conference, is coming up in September, where over 40 corporate partners come to meet LGBTQ+ students from across Canada in downtown Toronto.

A note from START PROUD

Thanks to our sponsors, tickets for students are $40 (before July 18th), and include the career fair, job boards, catered meals, our famous Recruitment Lunch, workshops, and the ability to enter case competitions and win awards – all of which can be added to students’ resumés. We believe it’s important to create job opportunities and a community for LGBTQ+ students, a place where they feel they belong. We would like to invite your students to join us.

SPECIAL PRE-CONFERENCE BOOTCAMP

This year, we have prepared a special “bootcamp” of skill-building workshops, including resumé writing, networking tips, and more – to prepare them for the Conference. Our bootcamp is on July 19th, and is free for students who purchase their conference ticket before July 18th. Students who participate also get a personalized resumé review before the conference, and the chance to submit their resumé directly to corporate partners.

BURSARIES AVAILABLE
