On behalf of the Financial Engineering Graduate Diploma, we welcome you to the Schulich School of Business. We would like to take this opportunity to familiarize you with the Financial Engineering Graduate Diploma Program offered at Schulich.

The Financial Engineering Program is a collaborative program offered to Master’s students in the Faculty of Graduate Studies, and MBA students in the Schulich School of Business.  After completing the Financial Engineering Program, students will be equipped with the theoretical knowledge and specialized skills in developing and valuing new financial instruments and implementing risk management schemes. Possible career opportunities include derivatives trading and valuation, and risk management in banks, investment firms, brokerage houses, other financial institutions, and consulting firms.

If you have a solid quantitative background, then this graduate diploma may be suitable for you. Students who fulfill the degree requirements of their Graduate program (MBA) and the required Financial Engineering courses are eligible for a Graduate Diploma in Financial Engineering in addition to their MBA degree.

Your credentials will be evaluated by the Director of the Financial Engineering Program and decisions will be communicated via email by the end of May.
