Professor Murat Kristal has been named to Poets and Quants’ annual Honour Roll, which names the year’s most outstanding professors at leading business schools around the world.

Professors are nominated by students, alumni and institutions and narrowed down to a selection of 40 inspiring business teaching professionals. They are honoured on this list for their demonstrated innovation in leadership, teaching, research and program design. Click here to view the full list, which includes some incredible testimonials, teaching stories and memories. It’s certainly inspiring to see the authentic relationships and rapport that current business teaching leaders have created in their classrooms.

We’re proud to celebrate Professor Murat Kristal’s success and inclusion on this list, as director of the MBAN program and York University’s youngest-ever tenured professor. As a prominent scholar in big data, analytics and supply chain management, and as a renowned leader in developing Schulich’s trailblazing Master of Business Analytics, Professor Kristal has much to take pride in as he reflects on the years of work that have earned him a place on this list.

According to Murat however, the most memorable achievement was watching his first year of MBAN graduates enter the workforce. “I was able to see every one of my students successfully find jobs upon graduation,” he is quoted as remembering. “Since then, I have been able to share in the same pride and excitement with two more graduating classes and their 100% job placement.”

That’s definitely worth celebrating!
