The deadline to apply for the Paul Stothart Memorial Scholarship in Mineral Economics is fast approaching! The Mining Association of Canada (MAC) and its members established the scholarship in 2012 following the passing of Paul Stothart, MAC’s former Vice President of Economic Affairs.

Eligible students must apply by May 15th to qualify for the $3,500 scholarship, which will be awarded for the 2016-2017 school year.

To qualify for the scholarship, candidates must be studying either a Bachelor of Masters of Economics/Commerce, or a Master of Business Administration. Students must also demonstrate an interest in mining finance supported by current or intended course work.
