The Executive Ambassador team works within the Division of Student Services and International Relations to help improve the prospective and current student experience at Schulich, and to manage the Graduate Ambassador program. These six individuals are your point of contact if you’d like to volunteer your time at Schulich, connect with prospective or newly admitted students, or assist at recruitment events.

This post is part of a series in which the six members of the executive ambassador team will introduce themselves in more detail. To learn more about the Graduate Ambassador program, click here.

Meet Your Executive Ambassadors: Spotlight on Abby

photo of Abby Chua, Master of Management student at the Schulich School of Business, 2016Hello Graduate Ambassadors!

I’m Abby Chua from the Master of Management program (one of the guinea pigs from the inaugural batch!).

I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, which I got here in Canada and Organizational Communication, which I earned in the Philippines. I love learning and have experienced working for private corporations, not-for-profit organizations, and the public sector, so you can say that I have an eclectic mix of professional background.

I applied to be an Executive Ambassador because I want the Graduate Ambassador program to be a rewarding experience for all our Graduate Ambassadors. My goal is to make the Graduate Ambassador one of the best and most fulfilling experiences each of our Ambassadors have at Schulich. I would love to connect with you, so please don’t be afraid to bug me when you see me on campus.

Fun Fact: I have a twin ( see below) ! So if you say, “Hello!” and I look at you with a funny face, that’s probably my sister.
