Take your education on the road and sign up for a  3.00 or 1.50 credit-hour study tour course in Winter or Summer 2017!

These courses utilize a mix of lectures, in-class discussions, and company visits that will take place during six pre-departure lectures and an 11-day study tour in Thailand/Vietnam.

Students will participate in a diverse selection of company visits. Sector visits are tailored as much as possible to students’ interests participating in the tour.

Vietnam:

  • Hanoi – Canadian Embassy (briefing)
  • City tour
  • Vietnam Chamber of Commerce & Industry
  • Student Group presentations (possibly at Embassy)
  • HCMC – Vina Capital, TMG (hi tech), HSBC (Schulich alum is SVP), clothing factory, CN (port), Canadian Consulate

Course Title: MGMT 6400A: International Business & Investment in Thailand & Vietnam

Thailand/Vietnam program dates: April 18-28, 2017 (not including travel days)

Cost: $2, 450 CAD plus international flights

Prerequisites: All 5100-level required Foundations of Management Courses completed prior to Winter 2017 term. Note: Consideration will be given to students who had approval to defer a 5100-level course to the Winter 2017 term in order to register in an elective course to count towards their specialization.
