February 2017 Convocation in Absentia

Will you complete your degree requirements this term?
Starting Friday, September 9, 2016, you can apply to receive your degree in February 2017.

To be eligible, students must meet the following requirements:

  • You must have either completed (or be on track to complete) all of your degree requirements by the end of the Fall 2016 term
  • You must not be enrolled in any full-year (6.00 credit) courses
  • You must complete all certificate requirements in addition to degree requirements by the end of Fall 2016 if you are planning to receive a concurrent certificate

How Does It Work?

The conferral date will appear on your transcript on February 24, 2017 and diplomas will be available for pick-up at Registrarial Services, Bennett Centre for Student Services, starting March 6, 2017.

There will be no ceremony in February. You will be automatically invited to attend the June ceremony and your name will appear in the convocation program.

The online application will close on Monday, October 24, 2016.
