Are you an international student who would like to stay permanently in Canada? Did you know that there are number of pathways to permanent residence (PR), and that you do not necessarily need to have Canadian work experience to be eligible? In fact, many Schulich graduate students may already meet the eligibility requirements of one or more permanent residence programs.

Your International Relations team is pleased to host an information session on Permanent Residence options to guide you through the most relevant PR programs and help you identify which option(s) may be best for you. We will cover various PR programs, including those managed under Canada’s Express Entry system (Federal Skilled Worker, Canadian Experience Class), as well provincial nomination options available under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) for international students.  We will discuss when to apply (as well as how to determine if you are already eligible to apply), strategies to enhance your Express Entry profile, supporting documents, bridging open work permits, and other important topics.

Schulich’s own Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), Ann Welsh, who recently joined the team in International Relations as our International Student Support Specialist, will be hosting the session. Please note, you are required to attend a relevant information session before booking a one-on-one appointment with Ann.

Registration is required. Please confirm your attendance here.
